The Design Your Dinner Challenge Educates Families about
GERD and Inspires Creativity in the Kitchen!
Does your family have a flair for creating delicious recipes that are GERD-friendly
and enjoyable for everyone, even the kids? If so, we invite you to enter the Design
Your Dinner Challenge by submitting your own original recipe that avoids
common GERD trigger foods!
The Design Your Dinner Challenge was created to help educate families about
how to identify and manage acid reflux disease, also known as gastroesophageal reflux
disease (GERD). It is also a way for kids and teens ages 517 to get excited
about GERD-friendly cooking with their families. The Challenge is brought to you
by TAP Pharmaceutical Products Inc. in partnership with celebrity food expert Ted
Allen and Dinner by Design, America’s leading meal-prep kitchen.
By submitting an original GERD-friendly recipe, participants can win an opportunity
to participate in a live local Challenge hosted by Celebrity Chef Ted Allen and
held at a Dinner by Design kitchen. One winning parent/child team will be selected
from each of the five local Challenges to compete in a final Design Your Dinner
Challenge. The winning parent/child team of the Design Your Dinner Challenge
finale will receive one year's worth of meals from Dinner by Design.
The Design Your Dinner Challenge is part of the GERD-Friendly Meal Makeovers
Program. Click here

GERD, commonly known as acid reflux disease, can occur when there is a weakness
in the lower esophageal sphincter, allowing stomach acid to repeatedly flow up into
the esophagus. To learn more about GERD,
